Already packed full of shops, restaurants and coffee lounges and a host of leisure facilities, it’s hard to imagine a bigger and better lifestyle destination in Sharjah, but now visitors to Sahara Centre will be able to find a wide selection of upgraded facilities, and additional stores as part of the shopping mall’s 1,001,035 square feet extension.

Strategically located on the Dubai-Sharjah Highway, Sahara Centre has become one of Sharjah’s major landmarks, where shoppers can browse among a wide selection of stores including fashion, sports, toys, cosmetics, jewellery, books, home furnishings and electronics among others. Some of the mall’s key anchor stores include Debenhams, Marina Exotic Home Interiors, Toys ‘R’ Us, Home Centre and Spinneys as well as entertainment such as Grand Sahara Cinemas and Adventureland.

The extension will breathe new life into the mall and add more diversity due to 85 new places to shop with anchor stores including Zara, Iconic, Matalan, Emax, Fitness First and Baby Shop. Likewise, prominent brands include Mango, Lacoste, Steve Madden, Tommy Hillfiger, Apple Store, Sunglass Hut, Swarovski, Promod, Bershka, Pull and Bear, Rodeo Drive, GF Ferre, Montblanc, George, New Look, L’Occitane, Oysho, Vero Moda, among others.

Sahara Centre will continue to be home to Adventureland, one of the largest indoor Family Entertainment Centres in the UAE, dedicating 70,000 square feet to 20 thrilling rides and attractions including the UAE’s first indoor roller coaster, first multi-level train and first indoor water flume ride.

Adventureland’s Adventure Zone will be a brand new entertainment centre and part of the new extension with a jungle/safari park theme and an even wider selection of thrilling rides and other forms of family entertainment, making Sahara Centre more fun for the entire family.

Movie lovers will be delighted to see the changes that have been made to Grand Cinemas, situated on the first level of the mall. The cinema has been totally revamped to include a host of new facilities making a night at the movies an even more grandeur experience.

After all the shopping and activities to take advantage of, visitors to Sahara Centre can choose from a wide selection of food and beverage outlets located in the multicultural food court where one could find an array of international cuisines, alongside 10 cafes and 9 restaurants, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for the convenience of mall customers. The food variety offered by the 51 outlets in the mall ranges from Italian, Chinese, Iranian to Indian and Arabic, all of which is guaranteed to gratify the tastes of all age groups and nationalities.

The new mall extension will add an interesting dynamic to become home to a wide-range of international restaurants to include Chopsticks, Bennigans, Al Halabi, Vapiano, Applebee’s, Russo's New York and Esfahan.
